Customer Expectations and FAQ: Popcorn Removal

What do I need to do to prepare my house for popcorn removal?

To be ready for popcorn removal in your home:
1) remove all objects from your walls
2) have all valuable items put away that you don't want dusty
3) move all furniture elsewhere if you can
4) make the floors as empty as possible
5) have a few house air filters ready to change throughout the process
6) clear off counter tops and surfaces of all objects

What to expect during the process?

Your home will be covered in plastic/drop clothes during the process. Although we use a machine to collect dust--it's still a dusty process!  Be prepared to confine yourselves to part of the home or even consider leaving your home for a few days to avoid inhaling the dust.

We will cover/prepare all the rooms

remove popcorn with a Festool Sander

mud as needed to smooth ceilings

prime/paint

clean up plastic/paper and materials

Post popcorn removal suggestions:

It's going to be very dusty in your home and will likely take a few days for the dust to settle.

1) change your air filters

2) consider having a maid come to clean all your surfaces a second time

3) if you would like a quote for an "industrial" aka deep clean, we are happy to coordinate that for you!

What about wall touchups

Please let us know if you have spare wall paint from prior work! There can be chips that come off with paint and we would prefer to use your old paint for an easy match.

If you don't have your old paint let us know in advance!
